Privacy Policy

Key Point Academy (KPA) is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting any personal information you share with us. You can visit our website without revealing personal information. However, in some cases, we may request personal information in order to provide the services you need. Such information will be used exclusively by Key Point Academy for official school purposes and will never be shared with unaffiliated third parties. All information collected is subject to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. By using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Terms of Use

This website is designed to provide news and information about Key Point Academy. We strive to ensure that all content is accurate and up-to-date.

No part of this site or its content—including, but not limited to, the school logo—may be copied, reproduced, modified, retransmitted, distributed, published, commercially exploited, or transferred without written permission from Key Point Academy.

Information Collection and Use

Key Point Academy does not track, collect, or distribute personal information about site visitors. However, we do collect certain data related to site visits, including domain names and IP addresses. We compile statistics on website traffic and page requests, which are used internally to evaluate and improve the site. These statistics do not include personal information and cannot be used to identify individuals.

Key Point Academy families have access to password-protected areas of our website, which may contain personally identifiable information such as contact details for other KPA families.

Email Privacy and Spam

The website contains email addresses of faculty and staff, as well as (within password-protected sections) KPA parents. Use of this information for private, commercial, or political mailings—or distribution to outside parties—is strictly prohibited. If you have questions about this policy, please contact Key Point Academy.

Student Privacy

Key Point Academy is dedicated to protecting the privacy of our students and their families. We do not publish students' full names on the public pages of our website. While images of students may appear on the site, they are never identified by name in public sections. Within password-protected areas, full student names may be used, and students may be identified in images.

Online Giving and Other Transactions

We are committed to the privacy and security of our donors and anyone making online transactions via the Key Point Academy website. If you choose to make an online donation or purchase, you will be required to provide your name, contact details, and billing information.

All transactions are encrypted using SSL technology, an industry-standard security measure that protects against unauthorized access. Credit card billing information is used solely for processing payments and fulfilling donor or purchaser requests. KPA does not store or retain credit card details after the transaction is complete.

Our website may include links to external sites. Key Point Academy is not responsible for the privacy policies or content of these third-party sites.

Cookies

Using Google Analytics, we collect anonymous data about how visitors use our site. This is done through cookies—small text files containing unique identification numbers that are stored on your device.

We use two types of cookies:

  • Session cookies, which expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies, which remain on your device for an extended period.

These cookies do not store personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

You can adjust your browser settings to alert you when cookies are used or to disable cookies entirely. However, this may limit your ability to fully access all features of the Key Point Academy website.
