We’re elevating the Key Point Academy Experience!

For the past 13 years in Brickell, KPA has grown into a vibrant, forward-thinking school community. Our new campus at 1501 Biscayne Blvd marks the next step in that journey.

Located in one of Miami’s most dynamic and rapidly developing areas, this new home reflects the energy, innovation, and growth of our community while providing the space and resources to support students from Preschool through Upper School.

Designed to support students from early childhood through high school, the new facility includes:

Larger classrooms and expanded learning spaces
Specialized areas for visual arts, music, science, technology, hands-on innovation, and athletics
Modern environments intentionally created for exploration, creativity, and collaboration
Upgraded safety and security features
On-campus parking, planned traffic flow, and clearly defined arrival and dismissal zones

With room for approximately 600 students, the campus gives KPA the ability to grow and broaden what we offer. The added space supports expanded academic programs, new student services, and enrichment opportunities not possible on our current site.

Most importantly, this is a long-term home built specifically for KPA. Owning and developing our own campus provides stability, flexibility, and the opportunity to create learning environments that truly support students at every stage of their academic journey.

Will the move to the new campus be complete or partial?

Why are we building a new building?

What is the difference between the current building and the new one?

The new campus offers larger classrooms, expanded athletics areas, upgraded safety design, modernized STEAM and art systems, and purpose built learning environments. It provides the space for children to begin as curious two year olds and continue all the way through their senior year of high school in a place designed to support each stage of their growth. Overall, the new facility provides more space, more resources, and greater long term stability for both current and future families.

What is the capacity of the new building compared to the current one, and why is it an improvement?

The new campus can accommodate about 600 students, and during our first year we plan to serve roughly half of that capacity to ensure a thoughtful and well supported opening. The space and flexibility on this site allow for continued growth, expanded student services, a wider range of enrichment programs, and facilities for arts, sciences, and athletics that are not possible on our current campus. As we grow and as additional space becomes available to us, the campus has the potential to expand even further in the future.
