Tuition Assistance at Key Point Academy

We are excited to announce that Key Point Academy has chosen Clarity as our new Financial Assistance application system. Our goal is to make the Financial Assistance application process as easy as possible for your family.

Financial Assistance applications through Clarity open on Friday, November 1 and are due by Sunday, December 1. 

You will find that Clarity offers a streamlined and user-friendly application process that can take as few as twenty minutes to complete. It's also mobile-friendly.

1. Create an Account
   Go to https://auth.clarityapp.com/en/signup/ to sign up.

2. Enter Household & Applicant Info
   Select the schools you're applying to. Sign Form 4506c to let Clarity access your tax return, so you don’t have to upload it yourself.

3. Complete Financial Details
   Fill out information on income, expenses, assets, and debts.

4. Pay the Fee
   The application costs $60 per household and covers all Clarity schools you apply to. Additional documents may be needed.

5. Upload Documents
   Check the “Document Requests” panel in your Clarity portal to see what's required.

Tips for a Smooth Application

• Enter accurate info about your assets: bank accounts, investments, home value, and loan balances.

• Prepare documents ahead, log into financial accounts if needed.

• Include all regular expenses, including any “out of pocket” costs not listed elsewhere.

How does Clarity make the application process easier?
As Key Point Academy launches its financial aid program, we're committed to making the process as smooth as possible for families. Clarity offers a simple, mobile-friendly application that can be completed in about 20 minutes. It also connects directly with the IRS to securely import your W2 and 1040 forms, so you won’t need to upload those documents manually. This reduces paperwork and makes applying for financial aid quick and straightforward.

Is my personal information safe with Clarity?
Key Point Academy is committed to protecting your personal data. Clarity meets high security standards, with certifications in GDPR and SOC2 compliance, and uses end-to-end encryption to safeguard all sensitive information.

Do I need to apply every year?
Yes, families must complete a Clarity application annually to be considered for financial aid. However, Clarity saves your prior application information, making future submissions faster and easier.

I live outside the United States. Can I still apply for financial aid through Clarity?
Yes. All families, including those living outside the U.S., are welcome to apply for financial aid by completing the Clarity application to the best of their ability. Non-U.S. residents will be asked to submit the Non-US Tax Filer Verification form as part of the process. If you reside in Canada, you will be prompted to upload your T1, T4, and Notice of Assessment documents.
